Classical Mechanics

Very broadly, classical mechanics deals with forces and analyzes the way they act on bodies - including lists of wquations of motion.  It is divided into three sub-sections:

Handles exclusively moving solid objects and analyzes their motion and the forces that cause them.

This field studies fluids (both static and in motion) and the loads acting on them.

Equations in this section relate to solids in static equilibrium and the forces on them.
